Where should I mount my K2 Reckoner 112s?

These days its not so much about "where to mount the skis" as it is "where to get the skis mounted." Don't end up with the fate that has been handed to so many others. #FindATrustedShop

Core center is generally where skis are meant to be mounted and skied

Where's recommended? I mounted my reckoner 102s +1 from recommended and they're great.

they should have recommended freestyle point and a recommended classic mount point. toss em at the freestyle point, prolly like -3 if i had to guess

"Team" line is -3.55 cm from true center. I really liked them there for what you're describing. Because I'm superstitious, I run them at -4 cm from true center because that's where I mount almost all my skis. But that's functionally the same as "Team."

I’ve skied the 112 at the team line and the midsole line and it’s way better at the team line. -3.5 to -4 is gonna be the best spot on that ski but it has a big sweet spot so hard to go wrong (except mounting it at like -7). I’d say go team line and you’ll be very happy

Same here I got the 191s. I was gonna do midsole cause it’s going to be my powder ski but might just go team

shred14I’m soon to be mounting my 2021 K2 reckoner 112s and am not sure where I should mount them. Where have you all mounted them?

I ski basically everything - Pow, groomers, carving, park, freeride, drops, kickers, etc. so I want something that will be good for all of the above. I have the 184 model and am 5’11”. I’m thinking about the team mount but want some input from you all first.

Skis that are freestyle oriented (I.e. twin tips, close to symmetrical shapes/flex) are designed to be skied closer to core center than their directional counterparts. Seems obvious, but I’m not gonna ski something like a Reck 112 at -7 and actually enjoy myself. Same with mounting like an ON3P Wren Pro at true center. Would not be enjoyable. When I see people asking ab like traditional mounts on freestyle skis it makes no sense because if you want a traditional mount with traditional (I.e. directional) performance, don’t get a fucking twin tip. Like a couple weeks ago some dude was asking ab mounting his JJ UL like -6.5 from center and I was just like dude what’s the point of a freestyle ski if you’re gonna mount it there? If you want a true pow ski you don’t get freestyle performance and if you want freestyle performance you don’t get true pow ski performance. Figure out your priorities dude, if it’s pow skiing then get something like a DPS Lotus. If you wanna have fun and ski everything then get the Reckoner and mount it on the team line

Sweet, I just got a deal on these but was looking for a freestyle pow ski. I don’t like pure float..
