down here in NC we are getting ready to start making snow. Temps have been dropping consistently and my guess for the guns turning on are around the 10th.

Opening date has always varied from early November to late November. The last few
years we have opened before the 15th. This year I’m thinking we’re going to open mid November.

We did have a couple seasons where sugar opened on Halloween but I don’t think that’s gonna happen for a while we got really lucky with that season even though opening day was just a narrow white ribbon.

I moved back to NY for the 15/16 season.

The weather was ass all "winter". Mtn opened jan 3rd. Conditions were so shit mtn probably never would have opened like that if not desperate. On the snow had 16 inches of snow for the historical. Seemed accurate and most of that was followed by rain.

Idk if my heart could take another season like that.

Im from Maryland up in the Appalachian mountains and we had an amazing winter last year. Not record amount of snow but we had snow on the ground pretty much all winter. Hoping it’s the same this year because Covid fucked it on last year.

It's pissing rain right now but supposed to deliver a bunch of snow. Caught up on rail projects and got a bunch of shit ready to go for winter. We're gonna start blowing snow tomorrow if the temps stay where they're projected. Hoping it works out. Might have to jump in a cat a bit and help with some pushing but hoping I can throw some more time at the rails with the squad.


Stoked for opening day!

I think we're opening next friday if the storm delivers. We're still saying the 19th though so who knows. I think it's just in case we can't make snow and the storm is all rain. Hoping for some deep and heavy for a good base to cover shit.

I’ve heard they may not open Wednesday but nothing official yet so take it with a grain of salt. But they would be opening Thursday.
