r00kieWhat is this? You cannot convince me that they didn't know what they were doing with that play on words, especially when then mentioned Texas in the IG post.
This tells me he really didn’t give a fuck, and just wrote the apology to please the robots who couldn’t figure out why they were offended but couldn’t resist jumping at the opportunity.
i think he shoulda stood his ground. Most people don’t care about carefully dissecting any little thing that has the potential to be offensive, extract whatever they can out of and carefully mold it into something that they can use to feel oppressed by, and signal their virtue by speaking out against it.
It’s just that their the most vocal by far. So you’ll hear from every single one of that tiny minority of psychopaths.
there’s a bit more very vocal people who adopt these opinions and will jump at any opportunity to feel offended, but they have no idea why. They done have their own thoughts so they adopt others.
I guarantee most people saw that ad, though “heh” and moved on.
And now look, you’ve got J Skis giving in, apologizing, adopting the opinions of the very vocal psychotic few and they don’t know why. They even donated to a terrible organization I guarantee they know nothing about.
They fall into that second category, they now think they agree that it was offensive and wrong but they haven’t really taken the time to figure out for themselves what the truth is, it’s hard to figure out what you yourself think independent from the pressure of the masses and ideologies you’re supposed to agree with.
Instead it’s easier to give up and join in the group consensus.
