Thinking bout switching back to my old boots

Toenails came off with new or old boot?

Ive had a toenail come off with a boot that had a higher and larger toe box because my toe would slam against it. Current boot is 1mm bsl shorter but much lower volume and tighter fit. I don’t have the same problem now.

I wouldn’t say losing toenails is normal each season, but I would do what’s most comfortable.

old boots take the big toenails off of both feet after my first real backseat landing of the year the last 3 years. the boot fit is so snug and in tune tho and they don’t hurt at all after my nails come off 😂 my plan was to get a footbed for the larger ones and see if it helps. the toe box is just too roomie not length wise but height wise

in other news i grabbed a saga pullover from the sun and ski sail u linked, just opened the package ane this thing rocks, thanks bro
