Do you use the same footbed for all your boots?

So I have a alpine boot and touring boot.
Last season I used my old custom footbed in my alpine boot and my touring boot. It was a pain to move them around but obviously it did work great compared to using just a stock insole in the boots.
At the end of the season my footbed felt funny half way up on a tour. After switching the footbed out, I discovered a huge crack under the funny foot on the insole.
As I’m getting ready for another footbed made, do you guys who tour and alpine have separate footbeds or use the same one or am I being a pussy by using a custom footbed in my touring boot to begin with?
Thoughts?

My bootfitter encouraged me to transfer my footbed between boots. When you're ballin on a budget, it's hard to justify spending the money on a second footbed imo

Fuck no. Don’t be a poor. Get another footbed. The cost is a rounding error in a ski season.

If they're working out for you and they fit properly in both sets of liners then absolutely. If you really hate swapping them over and dishing out another 150-200 isn't a big deal to you then go for it. You could even just get a set of trim to fit insoles for the AT boots which would be a hell of a lot better than using a stock insole. I know plenty of people that interchange insoles between 2 sets of boots if there isn't a discrepancy between length of the sets of liners.

Yes but I’d highly suggest getting two footbed sets. Really sucks if you forget to transfer or leave them drying and you go to boot up and are like, fuck I dont have my footbeds
i have two pairs that I use for both ski boots, my snowboard boots, and both pairs of fishing xtratuf boots too

I had this dilemma this season and recently decided to say fuck it and just put superfeet in my touring boots, which I use much less frequently. I'll swap my custom foot beds over for an all day tour but for shorter days, the superfeet do me fine.
