mystery3You want West System G Flex.

You can get it locally if there are boating stores near you or online.
Paul.Gflex epoxy. Mix in equal parts, and work it into the ski with a razor blade and a heat gun. Clamp with some flat material (a piece of plastic or something) to spread out the pressure
weastcoastDamn I taught this site well
Or did it teach me well??
fr tho if you really want it to last if the edge gets too mangled, cut it out and epoxy the gap that’s left. The one thing that screws up skis is edges. They’ll tear up the base/delaminate shit like nothing else. It’s like swallowing a piece of glass and your intestines getting fucked up.
on my first pair of vishnus I had this happen, I epoxied it with g flex and cut a lil but of the edge out, cause it was mangled from me eating shit on a rail. These skis were ridden almost everyday by me for two winters, and all of this past season by my lil cousin. Epoxy is still in there, hard as a rock. g Flex is nothing short of god tier.

bertBertsonEpoxy worked for me, pics of the process here:

I used JB Weld Marine and it's held so far but if you're serious about doing it right I would maybe search around some old threads for a better epoxy rec. I found the JB was super viscous so it was difficult to get good coverage inside the gap.
CalCarsonive had problems with this on other skis in the past. once it starts, it keeps delaming until the ski is unskiable. All the vishnus ive rode stop delaming after an inch. Not sure why or how but I usually just rip the top inch of edge and base off and they keep skiing great for a long time.
