-DanAre you using gay as an insult here or are you using core as a compliment?
bertBertsonHey NS, I think my son is core and I could really use your advice.
I want to start off by saying that I support him no matter how he decides to ski. Heck, one of my good friends experimented with Tall T's back in college and I never saw him differently for it. My wife and I have had our suspicions, a couple of times when he was little he asked to bring his skis to the playground, and recently I noticed he is skiing 184's even though he is only about 5'7". He left a tab open on the family computer with an odd URL (.xyz?) and upon investigation I found this was a very core website. I don't follow him on Insta but I was scrolling through my feed the other day and noticed he had commented the entire Sego Big Horn copypasta under a clip of Isaac Freeland doing a double backflip over Chad's.
Anyway, all this was confirmed when I overheard him on the phone yesterday telling his 'friend' to 'get Full Tilts'. I haven't brought it up with him yet and therein lies my problem - It's his personal choice whether or not to tell us he is core, but until then I want to make sure he knows he is loved and accepted in this house no matter what. He shouldn't have to hide his 2XL Arsenic hoodies in the back of his closet or furtively tell us he's going skiing at 'the resort' when he's actually going out to jib the neighbourhood high-voltage box. What can I do? Any advice appreciated.

Pakanakathis is the reply I wanted. best comment I've ever read
MiIfHunterDONT be homophobic thada not cool mangeee
bertBertson⬆️ Excluding people from skiing or making them feel uncomfortable for being themselves in skiing-related spaces is the least core thing out there.
Pakanakai apologize i wan't trying to be homophobic just making a joke. calm down people. why people so sensitive nowadays

dwt802If you’re trying to be “core” or think you are you aren’t. Core is a made up concept to make people think they’re more in tune and involved in skiing than others to feel better about their severe addiction to skiing.
BrightFrogwhoa, did mods change OP’s post from “gay”?
