Line pescados for tall people?

I'm 6'3. I'd like to ski the Line Pescados but I am worried that because they only come in a 180 size that I would not be able to ski them as well as if they were 190. Does that not matter? are they wide enough to not need the extra centimeters? Would I benefit from a shorter pair of powder skis? What gives Line??

If you want a longer swallow tail, I’m pretty sure Season Eqpt is gonna be making some long bois soon

IMO the Pescodo is basically like a 188 with a doxed tail. The appeal to me is that they get rid of the junk in the trunk that tends to get hung up in deep coastal pow. So yeah I think the idea is to go shorter than usual with the swallow tail

I spent two seasons on the 180cm Pescados and the mounting point is way far back from center so you still have a lot of ski in front of you. At 6’3 I wouldn’t think that you would feel like they weren’t long enough. They’re soft too so it’s not necessarily a powerful ski. I really likes to plane on soft snow. But I was impressed with the “carve-ability” of such a wide ski. Again, you could easily find its top speed on firm snow but that’s not what it was designed for.

I'm also 6'3". The only downside of the length is < 5'9" dudes trying to emasculate you in the lift line.

Like others said, they carve incredibly well for a pow ski and I have had absolutely no issue with float on deep days.

I got 191 powder skis I'd like to see people try to emasculate me for riding those given that they are the same height I am.

pescados has tons of float and skis longer than you think, Im also 6'3 and 240lbs and have them :)

I’m not sure about the pescados but Line actually recommends shorter sizing on the Sakana. I usually ski 180+ at 5’11 180lbs but they recommended the 174 Sakana for me and I’ve had a blast on it. Don’t really feel like it’s too short at all.
