I have enough low fluoro universal temp wax to last 600 years. If slipping by ppl on flat traverses at 60 mph is a luxury then i am basically the richest man in the world.
I bought 10 boxes of this shit last yr.
they have 3 boxes left in stock apparently.
166$ for 2.5 kg of low fluoro wax i think is a good investment. I skied on it last year and the shit glides like ky jelly.
and seeing as it seems fluoro wax supplies are going to dry up at some point, you should be able to sell each of your 10 0.25kg bars for 50$ each in about 5-10 yrs.
its not bitcoin, but its going to appreciate unless factories quietly continue to leak out lo fluoro waxes under the radar.
this wax this website is selling isnt even listed as lo fluoro anymore. But im pretty sure its identical to what i got, which was listed as lo fluoro when i bought it last yr.

Did you really buy from that site? Last time I tried to order from there my card flagged it as a scammer and people were saying they take your money and return it a year later saying item is backordered.
Fuck it you know what maybe dolan is onto something. Buying a pallet of warm temp lo-floro for the 2028 season when every mountain receives 36 degree snow. Maybe the lib climate scientist are just economists making sure they secure their wax assets
I'm part of the "wax-once-a-season-and-don't-scrape-it" crowd because base tuning and constant waxing is a lie fed to you by the ski race elite who want you to keep buying Swix so daddy can buy them a ski in ski out condo at Vail. Fuck Vail. Oh yeah and it gives you a convex base so you can get surfy as fuck but still have a good base and side edge bevel.
Sharkhunters gang. I smash into rocks to try and get big tearing core shots so I can whip my skis off in the liftiline, cut out the dangling PTEX with a rusty box cutter and then chew on it like jerky so people know I'm cool and carefree. If you treat your bases with soy sauce and liquid smoke it's pretty tasty.

On my revolt 87s (which have the true racing base unlike the other revolts) i glided so fast it made pointing groomers like a wet dream. Like you couldnt even avoid noticing how fast they slid. On traverses that had anything close to a decent incline i wojld keep picking up speed like on willy wonkas tunnel boat ride.

Apparently snowinn keeps re upping on this wax. They have 7 boxes in stock right now but all u really need is 1.
it is no longer listed as lo fluoro but im 99% sure its the same shit i got which was low fluoro.
im not sure if low fluoro waxes are going to be allowed to continue to be manufactured sort of under the radar or what. Im pretty sure high fluoro waxes and overlays are going to be finished. But you dont really need high fluoro unless you are trying to shave of milliseconds.
I know i have said this before but i used this toko low fluoro universal temp wax on my revolt 87s and i slid like a puck on an air hockey table. Skiing is just so much more fun and fluid when you feel like gravity is fucking you without a condom. I think it makes you ski better to have no resistance on the snow.
The revolt 87s have the same racing base that volkl uses on its race skis and is lightning fast, but even if you just have a regular sintered base you will still be blitzing groomers with some low fluoro in your bases.
If you wanted to be sure that the snowinn toko backshop barwax universal temp was still lo fluoro i would try emailing them and asking. But its the same picture and the same price and amount as what it was when listed as low fluoro, so im almost positive its the same shit.
i think they legally cannot list it as fluorinated wax even tho it is. But just ask them if u are thinking of buying it.
