The most impressive new skis out for next year are the factions, in they exist, and a company which only manages to loose more investor money per ski sold each year is still kicking.
Mr_pretzel108-112 is a great ski width for a lot of places. Awful for Norway

even on my trips 1-2-3 times per year to misc places in europe I've even yet to have that wide as a daily, its either ice, or pow... or rain and pow gets skied out FAST.

I pretty much daily a 108, and I'm happy with it in pow. BUT, I also have a 118 at a longer length that is just that much better on deeper days. But I just ordered a 102 last night.

Atomic has plants in both places so it’s still one of their own production facilities. Have seen Fisher sometimes change between their Austrian and Ukraine plants for various reasons without issue.
See Candide dropped a new video today and he was skiing some new skis. On the very last scene you can make out that they have Faction logos on the bases so maybe he’s still skiing for them in 23?
is the bent 90 going to be a lesser value version of the 100? similar to the reckoner 92 and 102? seems like would be a perf rail rat whip, 1600g at 175
It would be such a good addition to my quiver. But I can’t stand such a light skis for 70/30 resort/side country usage
I'm so stoked about the weight haha! I feel like there are plenty of 2000+ gram skis that have a similar shape and rocker profile and fill the niche you're talking about really well. But at that 1800ish gram weight, this has the potential to be such a sick 50/50 or even dedicated touring ski, and there are a lot less skis like that on the market right now. I think it hits a rad niche that's needed more competition for years.

I got out on the demo today in a lot of mixed conditions and am pretty impressed. Such a similar shape to the old blog but with some much needed backbone underfoot. I never thought the weight was holding it back even on a steep icy groomer they use for racing at Copper.
I thought because of the name change and the increase in lineup and all the “we’ve worked together so long” posts that maybe he was out the door, as it seems to be a thing lately. But I have since learned I was very wrong lol
That revolver boot must be based on either the soul or original shell, anyone know which? I'd like to try to follow this as the soul fits my foot well, narrow heel wide toe. It's hard to know how or if the new co is going to market the individual shell shapes. It's reassuring to hear they're going to keep them initially.
