I'm not a great park skier and I want to progress in the freestyle aspects of my skiing this season. Right now I can only do basic tricks like 180s and 360s with safetys and mutes. Naturally 540 are next but after that idk where to go, what should my goals for the season be?
Last season I was the same place as you. I had same tricks and first thing I did was learn switch 1,3,5. My first cork was switch 5 and I also think that is wear you should go bec you can lean into it easy and you can cork it very little, or a ton and it’ll work out just fine either way. It’s also easier to commit to than cork 7. I’d also then learn 7 and switch 7. If you want to know rail trick progression, I progressed a bit last season and might have some tips.
Have u tried any switch stuff yet? Switch 180s on small jumps and switch tail butters would be fun and easy ones to learn first imo. Also if u haven't started hitting rails yet I would learn to do that. Then front 2, then blind2, etc
