I don't know how I never put 2 and 2 together but I only figured out he was Todd Jones kid a year ago and ever since then it's been easy to hate on him, but you have to remember he did nothing wrong he just likes to ski and he happens to be really good at it; overrated yes but really good nonetheless
Im going to have to get a picture of me skiing this year, make a poster, and leave it like this. I'll even sign it. I hope nobody curb stomps it and somebody cherishes it forever.
For real, the hate on Kai Jones is getting out of hand. Kid just wants to ski and have a good time and has the money and connections to do it, same as Henrik growing up.

But bro, he doesn't connect with a demographic that wants to grow the sport by only buying pricepoint or NS hype ski's and shitty clown pants sewn in someone's basement out of fabric equivalent to what you would find on a dollar store duffel bag. Not to mention his great respect for picnic tables. If he's not chasing the next shitty trend or smoking cigarettes then how can he be core?

I don't mind Kai Jones but I hate the hype around him. Honesty the kid just wants to ski, and pretty much every kids dream is to be sponsored by red bull. But I hate that all the kids at school that are suddenly obsessed with skiing out of no where, if you ask them to name a skier the only one they can name is Kai Jones.

Honestly I think his dad is just trying to be helpful and help his son be successful with skiing. Everyone should stop hating on him when Kai himself didn't do anything wrong

Lmao i've met him multiple times, and he's a dick. Granted, I was in uniform, working at Targhee, but you can tell everything you need to know about a person based on how they treat the dudes bumping their chairs. I've seen the glares this dude gave me and my crew when we try and get people stoked as they're waiting in the line. He's one of those people that will dead fish when you try and scan their pass. (Not moving around, or doing anything that would make it easier for the liftie to see the pass). Dude would also get super pissed when we had to scan his pass every lap he did (As we have to do for everyone). Fuck anyone who doesn't extend basic politeness to resort staff/anyone working a shitty grunt job.
