Landed my first cork 7 today but after watching it in slow mo quite confused as now I think it might be bio/misty 7 as I toss it forwards. Tips/corrections much appreciated.

gravelyeah it’s a morked cork. not a bio. if it feels good just keep sending it, tbh mork takeoffs are pretty lit despite what traditional/proper technique people would argue.
JsNeagleI kind of disagree, depending on how much you want to progress. Sticking with this set will result in some weird muscle memory and you'll just keep morking. The downside to that is it's super hard to turn that trick into anything else, while a good cork 7 is a building block for so many other tricks.
I'm not sure if teenage Jeff would be disappointed with 35-year-old-coach Jeff, but that's my opinion these days.
gravelfoundationally, you’re totally right and that’s way better advice. and the more i watch it the more it looks just bio not even mork.
where i’m coming from is just that having a proper/standardized way to do a trick can be stylistically limiting. some of the best style and tricks come out of people who sort of learned the wrong way and just kept going at it. it’s personality through movement.
Pakanakathanks for the help guys gonna work on this and post a follow up. gonna try and get this more style make it my own and maybe turn it into a 9.
