ski_salmon69A picnic table you say? 😏😳
keagan.karstensMidwest represent!! I’m from northern Illinois but I’ll have to make a trip up there when I go home on break
Young_pattyI used to work at a summer camp by rice lake!
Christie is definitely a gem: great food, fun terrain for the size, and the park was actually mad fun when I went.
It's got very mom and pop vibes to it, by Midwest standards it is definitely upper tier, probably one of the best resorts I've ridden at in the Midwest in terms of value and fun. All around great place.
CrunnchyVanManoooo, might be worth a check out. I am in wausau so that drive is nothing for me
HypeBeast$40 for a 300 vert hill. Hmmm
r00kieThe cost of skiing the midwest is getting ridiculous. Not sure about by you in Ohio(?) but this would be on the cheaper end in Michigan. Resorts in the northern lower peninsula are pulling Colorado prices no joke.
Lifedownhill_5That's awesome! Do you remember how long ago you went?
Young_pattywoulda been like 2-3 years ago, later in the winter but not quiet spring. probably around February or March. Park had a full set and was pretty fun, up at the top had some fun jibs and a couple fun natty hits. The cheese curds were pretty bangin too
HypeBeastNah Ohio is absurd as well. If I even go skiing here's it's for a day or two just to get my fix in if I don't have time to travel. One place is now owned by vail so it's on the epic pass but I'll pass on that pass
RparrSnow trails is by far the best hill in ohio these days

RparrIncorrect we don't even get 300m at my hill in ohio
ThunderChickenDude I'll be there. Rice lake is about the same distance as spirit in duluth for me and that sounds sick. Just had a xc meet in rice lake a couple weeks ago.
Lifedownhill_5Thats epic, lmk when you're going if you can I'll meet you there,. we're supposed to be getting three new rails this year too, I know we getting a donkey dick for sure
ThunderChickenFor sure, it's cool to know we got a ski hill down there. As far as northwest WI goes you pretty much got mont du lac, drive to MN or drive to washburn and ski mount ashwabay. Spirits rope park is so fun but you can't beat skiing a smaller hill sometimes.
ZephosSpirit was the home hill before going out west for greener pastures. It'll always be OG
