Vail COVID Policies

Link below. Posting since I assume Alterra will be similar. My thoughts:

- Love that it looks like singles line is coming back.

- I'm glad they got rid of the ridiculous outdoor masking.

- The masks indoors to walk to your table theatre is stupid, but low impact so whatever. I don't really eat at ski resorts/areas anyway.

- I'm against government mandated vaccines but private companies can do whatever and might make some vaccinated people (incorrectly) feel more comfortable.

I live by the beach, during lockdown we weren’t even allowed to go there to exercise or surf.

The waves were really good one day and my neighbor decided to go surf really quick.

He was met with multiple police cars showing up, a fat fine, and put in handcuffs. I think he might have been put in jail since he tried to run back into his house.

If that’s not concerning then you have a straight up peanut brain.

100% agree man. Honestly COVID is just like 9/11 in that we're going crazy trying to prove something with our reaction. Some of this will never go away. Best to resist it the best we can. I'm vaccinated and that shit definitely 100% ended for me then.
Skiblade420As a dual citizen of USA/AUS it is absolutely ridiculous what’s going on over there. The police/military involvement and lockdowns there have been wayyyy over the line, not to mention the intense influence China has gained in Australia.

Government always tries to gain more and more control, usually slowly but rapidly sometimes as well. The fact that some people think that statement is whack a doodle nonsense is beyond me.

Always considered Australia to do things the right way until this.

And yes I’m vaxxed, but if the new Norma becomes having to show our vax card for everything…. that would be bad. Especially if we get stuck in a loop of needing a new card/vax every year.

The grossest thing is watching these politicians put down rules while simultaneously breaking them and partying/vacationing themselves throughout it all.

How can you break your ridiculous lockdown policies and not automatically need to step down or at least own up to it.

Meanwhile if one of them were to say something like they only believe in two genders, they’d be crucified within minutes.

It's fascism. Both parties practice it more and more. Extremely gross to see it bleed into the mainstream for most people. Cheering on death for people who die simply because they're not in your party...

Yeah it’s getting really dehumanizing.
It’s crazy it’s becoming social norm to wish harm on people who aren’t vaccinated. Yet it would be socially intolerant to wish poor out comes for obese people, addicts, or those who have contracted stds…. all which are preventable.

People just can’t seem to find a reasonable middle ground these days.
