Whaddup y’all, I keep seeing these videos of park boys with dope summer setups for hitting rails, I’ve got a launch structure up on a tiny hill in my backyard and some pretty small pipes at the bottom of it but I thought it was only doable in winter,
what’s this green carpet-y stuff I keep seeing people use for these setups? Can I just ski straight on the grass/wood? I need the deets bros!

i use astro turf on my setup which you kind find at places like home depot or lowes. you can pay by the foot or they also sell precut rugs. personally i’ve found this surface to work very well, you just have to keep it wet as you sesh. on super hot days it definitely drys out quick, so a bunch of soap and water on both the turf and your bases helps.

Yeah astroturf is the green stuff you're seeing and is a great option for the cost/effectiveness. But depending on your budget, you could also look into mSnow. Basically the same idea here, that you're sliding along tiny bits of plastic. Quite a bit more expensive but you dont have to worry as much about tears or keeping it wet/soaped up while using.
