Replying to Best go pro app for both IPhone and Windows

SavageBiff:
Would like an app on the phone to make deleting un wanted clips on mountain easier to free up space.
Any editing would be done from a windows based pc

could use any and all advice on anything go pro, mounting positions, rhino swivel 360, etc, for you experts please put the lingo in a manner someone with no camera knowledge would understand.
Rn I have a hero7 blk, top helmet mount, wind screen(works gr8),thinking about a side mount or little more forward on the helmet, mines on top in the center I think it’s not a good spot. Maybe a rhino 360 or similar?
For backcountry and places were a drone can safely be used, but a drone for a go pro or separate unit? Don’t wanna spend more than $1k on a drone, don’t even wanna go over $500 but may be willing, don’t really need 4K from a drone, follow mode would be priority. I have 3 spots at home that would actually make some great drone footage if it snows like it did last season, and it would be cool to film for the friends and maybe just post up in a park make some crash edits.
