What would on3p say if I asked for a woodsman 106...

102 too narrow for what I want, 110 too wide, split the difference, bada bing bada boom, we happy.

actually curious though, if I asked them to slightly modify the cad models for the cores would they go for it or would they be laughing at me in the workshop for the rest of the day?

Go buy a ruler and see the difference 2mm each side of your foot is before you ask a company to try and reup all their tooling for a new ski shape lol

I'd be very surprised if you could tell the diff between 108, 106, and 110 anyways. Just buy the 110's unles you only ski east of the Mississip.

They clearly have a mold for the ski already made so they did it, only company ive seen that had an adjustable mold was Ramp and they're not a company anymore...

It isn’t just a simple CAD change. Would involve custom design time for cores too and custom production assets to be built. So could we do it? Yes. Would you pay a lot for it? Yes.

Do I think spending a couple more grand is worth having 106 vs 102/110? No.

But in actuality Scott, how are you doing, I know ON3P always has some athlete turnover, but Magnus and that crew seemed to be a major part of it and I can't imagine it's been an easy summer for you that way.

Not if the rocker profile stayed the same and the only thing that changed was the waist width

New core, new edge template, new tooling for layup, graphic alterations, etc...plus all the time to machine the new tooling to create the parts for the ski AND coordinate with an entire factory floor of employees that this one pair is completely unique in almost every way.

We've had people offer to pay the obscene amount of money we would charge for custom shapes and even then...it's just not worth the time when something sooo similar already exists.

You are on point with the mold portion of this though.
