Shifts or Kingpins

hey, i would say that it depends on how often you want to use the ski inbounds/resort. more resort => maybe shift. otherwise i would rather take the fritschi tecton with elastic toe piece or if you want something really light => atk fr14. i don't see a big advantage with the kingpins, also because i've heard that it sometimes triggers unexpectedly in the front when ascending. but this problem could also be solved by now.

Go kingpin! I’ve owned the shift and also own the kingpin and have put them both through their paces. The king pin FAR outways the shift in ever aspect. I pretty much only rode resort last year on my kingpins and they charge just as hard a a regular downhill binding. I have zero complaints about the kingpin. The shift on the other hand ive has wayyy to many issues with it and I worked in a shop so yes everything was put together perfectly and I still had more issues and problems with them then I ever had a good time on them so definitely kingpin

Spend the extra money and get Cast.
