I mentioned deeply relating to the thread about how the church has fought against contraceptions, sex education etc. You can't have it both ways. These are some of the best ways to prevent pregnancies and get away from the need for abortion.
You say you don't hate gay people but went on a weird rant for most of your reply about how gays are all pedophiles and felt some weird attack on the church about it as well, which I never even brought up.
Again, as mentioned before, if we don't have universal health care a lot if women rely on places like planned parenthood for many things ither than abortions. Another spot where you can't have it both ways.
As far as Christian groups not owning up to it when they're wrong I absolutely wasn't generalizing. These are the people that get stirred up in bullshit moral panics and try to legislate, or do anything they can to shut down things they're scared of for no reason. When the world goes on and we don't all get smitten for having pokemon cards, reading harry potter, doing taekwondo (it has unchristian religious elements apparently) and a billion other things, they never own up to it.
There are groups that would go in netflix together and 1 star movies and shows they never had seen to try to bring the ratings down because they felt they were unchristian.
All these beat faux grassroots organizations that stir up the fear in christians.
A good chunk of the heavy Christians never thought for themselves. This is the reason they need Christian schools, and teaching weird culty songs and bible versus to indoctrinate children from near birth. Because honestly, it's not that the devil is going to get them. If they didn't indoctrinate children with their bullshit, there aren't as many people going heavy down that road.
This differs from people who join or stay in the church, can critically think, but believe and or get something positive from the experience. These are not the people freaking out constantly and driving the moral panics.
Also since you went on a crazy rant about how all gays are pedophiles, how about all the racism in the church. Wayyy too many christians that hate gays, want to legislate this and that in the name of jesus are racist. I've seen plenty of it in "good christians". It's not uncommon, its not isolated. You'll hear less of it blatantly these days because of how society views it but it's still there. And if you go farther back in history it was definitely a thing. If the churches spent as much time on civil rights as saving a fetus that would have helped a lot. Some churches definitely did that, but if you're going to push your moral agendas, if this religion is the only religion, you need to own up and call out the bullshit and most of the crazy christians don't and never have done this.
You talk about saving the baby in a case of rape. What kind of sick person will guilt trip and throw blame at a victim of rape just so you can throw another notch on your "babies youve saved" statistics. That is straight messed up. I get that the people doing it might be doing it with good intentions, but a lot of bad stuff is done with the best intentions.
Christians see other people existing and having rights as an affront to their own rights. I absolutely agree that christians should have the right to worship their god. It's messed up that those same people want to legislate rights of people they don't agree with.

Imagine the trauma of somebody that's been raped and gets pregnant. Then some kook ass religious people yell at them and try to guilt them with the bible for even considering having an abortion. Sure you care about life or whatever but preganancy seems gnarly. Imagine having to cary your attackers baby to term the psychological effects of that, just to make some people from church feel like they did something wonderful today.
Oh and if that does severely fuck the person up, at least you still can't get mental health care that easily. But I'm sure said people would invite them to the church for bs counseling that doesn't give the person the help they need.

If we can't have it both ways, "I'm a kook," who'd choose Christian values over millions upon millions of abortions for the sake of convenience. While I would never impose violence on another to prevent an abortion, I salute Christians who use peaceful means out of love and help women and men to see that every life is precious. I do, however, agree that criminalizing abortion is the wrong way to go. Abortion has been historically used for eugenics purposes. Such can be read in the Jaffe memo or the many UK eugenics white papers which mention marketing abortion to 'undesirable' populations, such as "African-Americans" as well as to promote homosexuality to children, increase taxes on the middle-class, put low dose sterilizing agents in water supply, etc., etc. Sounds like kooky Alex Jonestein talk, but all is publicly available in archives and was and most likely still is talked about in good spirit by people like Boris Johnson, whose father was pro-eugenics, among many other politicians in the UK and US.

As long as they're not forcing their ways on institutions which for thousand of years preached against abortion and homosexuality, fine... but why be forced by the secular state to change their statue laws?
What I was explaining was that IN THE HOMOSEXUALITY COMMUNITY, there is a fervent pedophile cult that cannot be denied. Obviously, I'm not claiming you have anything to do with it. That was my only stance. Statistically, homosexuals have a higher propensity for sexual deviance and pedophilia. Christians should not panic. For followers of Christ have no reason to become members of political corporations to legislate others, though they can. They preach and spread the gospel lowly and humbly but sternly. Maybe the problem is the gospel?

To teach children the principals and values of Christ is much better than not. Catholic and Christian school children and teenagers do far better in life and in charity and rightful living than those who choose the public school route, which has been ridded of any Christian teachings... though, the implementation of rebbe Schneerson, the racist Orthodox rabbi's Moment of Silence, is an odd feature.

Many people can critically think and be part of the Church. I do agree, however, that there are evangelical Christians constantly driving moral panics for no good reason.

What racism in the church? The Catholic church, though for some is said not to exist since Vatican 2, was against any sort of racial bias and believed all men were created in the image of God. God gave us free-will to follow Christ or reject Him. Fundamentalist Evangelicals, sure, racism still exists in many who partake in that denomination but is ungodly and it certainly is not the majority.
As for the pedophiles... the current pedophiles in the Church are not Christians. Secondly, your reading comprehension is piss poor. I NEVER SAID All gays were pedophiles. Maybe reread what I wrote. Evangelical sects... sure. Christian Identity (British Israelism) sects, definitely. But Christians just believe you're going to go to hell and want to save you. I think they believe that promoting homosexuality to children is wrong in God's eyes.

That's a very small subset of people. Cases of rape is very low compared to sacrifice for financial and convenience sake, which was a neo-Darwinian eugenics goal since the early 20th century.

They certainly don't like pedophiles infiltrating the Church, as Caligula and his deviant bi-sexual pedophile cults did. That isn't to say all bi-sexuals or homosexuals are pedophiles. But you can see how they'd think that or at least want to inhibit further infiltration. Many traditional Catholics are totally against the church today due to its takeover by ideologues such as this.

How many are raped and get an abortion compared to those who get an abortion for financial and convenience reasons, which was always a eugenics agenda. First, instead of criminalizing abortion, how about raising the fucking living standards for the middle and lower classes, impose capital tax on the billionaires, promote home ownership (though Blackrock's Fink and the WEF want homeownership to go out of style); erect public banks that can issue low interest loans, stop funding Israel and her wars (fuck Evangelical Zionists for this) and work on increasing welfare for mothers. It has nothing to do with your life. For most Christians, I think they're mad that lobbies are forcing them to allow homosexuals to preach the gospel and homosexuality as Godly in their own institution. My only stance was that this would be the worst thing to do. It's like censoring a racist. All you're going to do is make him more racist. Allow them to worship and you do your thing.
