while I’m working on Ballard I need a new ski, I’m gonna try and not be a pussy and focus on learning more shit in the park this season specifically rails. I’m thinking of getting the crushin cans cuz they look dope as fuck but I wanted to see what people think. I know 102 is pretty wide to learn new shit on but I’ve grown very accustomed to wide skis and don’t really dig anything sub-100 so….
what you guys think? I wanna support ON3P so it’s either get a Meeks or a Jeffrey 110 for my daily but I’m hoping the design I have cooking for Ballard can fill that category

Honestly I think wide is more comfortable for rails because it feels like you have more of a platform

New England. I think the Meeks is gonna be my park stick and the 110 is gonna be my east coast pow ski/out west/Europe one ski quiver. I’m 5’11 and around 190 I’m thinking 181 for the Meeks and 186 for the 110

I’m ass in the park but ski 102’s and love em. You may not be able to swap as easily but you will feel more “locked in” on slides

I have a 107 underfoot that I will *very rarely* take through the park. It feels 110% more badass doing a clean back 2 off on a wider, longer ski.
DesertStixI’m ass in the park but ski 102’s and love em. You may not be able to swap as easily but you will feel more “locked in” on slides

The Magnus 102 (crushin cans) is perfect, I had the 90s before and after going to the 102s it just makes more sense. They’re stable and you can do whatever you want with them.

BradFiAusNzCoCaI have a 107 underfoot that I will *very rarely* take through the park. It feels 110% more badass doing a clean back 2 off on a wider, longer ski.

I would like to support them because I’ve owned their skis in the past and enjoyed them a lot, and Scott is a humble ass dude who is very nice and makes some kick ass skis.

Scott has publicly given him advice about Ballard mfg and given him $50 towards Ballard.

Scott at ON3P and Alex at Fauna are def the most helpful owners on NS

Shoutout to Creighton from Hinterland too but he doesn’t really get into the thick of things in the forums.

yo at 5'11 id go 186 or 191 on both of those fyi. maybe dont need to push it to 191 on east coast if you don't want to but definitely at least 186

I think 186 is gonna be too long for pure park stuff. I know that they ski short but that’s fine I would rather have a shorter effective edge than too much ski to whip around

you'd definitely be fine but it's personal preference for sure. i'm 6'1 165 and i would consider 186 kartels too short for me to ride, theyre pretty much 160cm of effective edge. just something to think about. also longer skis look way cooler ;)

You don’t need the extra weight of the 186 vs 181 and also, nobody will notice lol
