Someone tell me something worse that happened to them to make me feel better.

STEEZUS_CHRI5TIn March I broke my leg skiing alone at Keystone’s “Park”.

Since that day I’ve undergone 4 surgeries, fought infections, spent tens of thousands of dollars, missed 2 months of work, got hemorrhoids, lost $15,000 in the stock market, missed my entire summer, rent just went up $270/month here so now I have to move, I lost 20lbs and I haven’t walked, had a beer, or been able to drive since March 28th. So cry me a river.

freestyler540Havent had a girlfriend since 2015. Its been straight up rejections from that year on. Too depressing to keep track. It averages out 2-3 a year.

My neighbour, my closest friend and my biggest fan got word that she has terminal cancer. She found a lump in her breast this May. Im not sure if I will be home before she dies. Shes 66.

My family never bothered to send birthday wishes this year… again. It was 2 weeks ago.

I could be dead and no one would even notice. Thats how Ive been feeling the last few years.

Saturday Morning

Start dating some girl i met the night before. She tells me her boyfriend had a 26 of vodka thrown in his window. She also comes with a free house.

There's a story of a guy who was biking and got hit by a car. He had to have that contraption on for like 7 years for the bones to grow back and reconnect. Whack

One day a guy brought in a jelly donut and stuffed it to the brim with anchovies. Idk if my uncle learned his lesson but I bet he didn't fuck around with people's food for a while after that.

Was completely dishonest with me this time and also was talking to her ex the whole time who she bashed.

Broke up because of it and they got married a few months after.

Found out yesterday they’re moving extremely close to me and I’ll probably have to see her at social things because of the people I introduced her to down here.

Was already heartbreaking to see someone who was my best friend for 5 years lie to me and treat me so poorly, but to see her face again with her husband around town / at parties seems like too much to handle.

r00kieNo, so thats the risk I ran. So far not feeling horrible, just really tired and a little feverish. Right now the inconvenience of it all is the worst part. Calling my friend and telling him I probably won't be at his wedding was the worst feeling I've ever had.

SofaKingSickyeah it's happened with a few friends of mine recently and in the non-vax cases the groom/bride have been pissed. i hope you'll consider getting vaxed now but of course in the meantime i hope you feel better soon

I got her the job and now I'm more or less blacklisted from the place, but still see her in the area all the time. Cant imagine how shitty your situation is.

WoFlowzYeah I probably shoulda I at least said hi and introduced myself cause we have all but two periods together and our last names are next to each other in the alphabet so we sit next to each other in almost every class. Fuckin Covids still going around here so we have assigned seats in highschool 😐

MeenaSmallsupdate on my situation:

After 2 months of me doing what my ex was wanting me to do, before she would want to get back together, to better myself. (Drinking less, going to therapy, working on myself) I find out she has a new boyfriend, and that he will probably be moving in with her, in our old house down the street from where I reside currently. Also had her randomly text me and let me know that all of the furniture that she was storing for me (we had agreed on this) was now to be found on the front lawn. So yesterday I got to go pick up my bed frame, couch, bbq, all from her front lawn while she and her new boyfriend more than likely enjoyed watching struggling to load it all up and to add a cherry on top. She informed me that the wifi that I had left for her to use as my new spot has wifi already was going to be cancelled and I am being left with the 350$ bill. I cant do anything though as the Bar that she recently got hired at happens to be my friends and I's favourite spot where we have gone for years, and I made the dumb call of helping her get hired there when we were together, and now she has the power to ban me if she feels like it.
