Replying to Beginner Freestyle/Freeride Skis
Okay so I'm looking for some skis for two years now and I still can't decide which ones to get. I hope that some of you could help me out so here is some information about me:
I'm standing on skis since im 5 years old but I'm really afraid of steepness, so I'm always only riding green or blue slopes because I'm worried of losing control and going too fast. I'm living in germany so I mostly go skiing in austria, there are not that many parks, it's more ski alpin focused. I've never tried out a trick on skis and never had my own pair of skis.
I'm not sure if I want to get a freestyle ski because I'm really interested in it and would love to try and learn some tricks but here in Germany we got only a bit to none snow so I could only practice once to twice a year when I'm in the winter holidays with my family. I would rather see me in freeriding/backcountry. I'm really overwhelmed of all the skis on the market and don't know what to do or to get. At the moment I'm looking at the ''Faction Pack Prodigy 2.0'' skis. I found them for a what seems to me as a good price on a german website (300€). The description says that they're also good in powder and I would order them with a Mark Griffon or Pivot Px 10 or 12 binding. What are y'alls thought on that? I'm really so confused and would like to get new skis before my next ski trip in january
