Ski goggles around the 200 mark?

My 7 yo smith squads are starting to shit themselves. I’m looking at three pairs, Anon sync, dragon X2, and Oakley fall line XL.

I got a big ass head, so anything for that works nice, and all black style wise

Best goggles I’ve tried on in a long time are Oakley Fall Line XM. XL were great too, just felt like a bug with them. I know the fall lines are made to fit a variety of faces (including alternative aka Asian fit)

Squad XLs didn’t work that well with my cheeks so we might have very different faces. They fit but when I smiled - they kinda pushed out.

Spy ace is great. Got lots of great compliments on the pair I won from the Spy account on here so I bought a second pair with Level 1 branding when it was a killer sale.

I can’t endorse spending much on goggles though. One of my favorite pair was like $18 shipped.

Really you are paying for the brand with any goggles so decide how much that is worth to you

Idk what your thoughts are on the Oakley Line Miners but I personally love them and they fit well. I have a fuckin watermelon of a head and they fit me with glasses quite well and the Oakley Prizm Lenses can’t be beat. Plus for 60-100$ you can get a second lease bringing it to close to 200$. I mostly use the rose lens for everything from night riding to, flat light, pow days, and even some sun, but when it’s really sunny I use some like orange red mirrored ones since I have light sensitivity issues. But for most people rose colored lenses would prolly be perfect for everything

You only need one. Just get the Prizm Rose or HI Pink and you won’t need another

I 2nd this. Got my other lens for $45 on black friday I think. They fit super well and never fog up even with a face mask/tube on 24/7 last winter.

I know it’s not talked about a ton but I’m definitely gonna throw in the dragon PXV. I’ve been running it since it came out and it’s the best goggle I’ve ever owned and I’ve got a big face as well. For $180 with 2 lenses you can’t beat them and the field of view is huge!!

I recently went from Spy Dooms (aka legacy ~$200 new) to Smith Squad XLs. The squad XLs are much better, have ChromaPop which is up there with Prism and can be had on sale for $70-90. I'm converted for life. Lens change isn't too bad and replacement lenses are super cheap in the summer

i have a pair of smith 4d mags that i barely touched last season. Would part ways for $150. They're dark dark green with a mirror lens and a fog/snow lens. Lmk if you are interested

(IMO) In my 16 years experience of boarding/skiing the Oakley Line Miner are my favourite goggles that I have used/owned. They're the best looking goggles I have seen, they have great field of view, the prizm lens is perfect for flat light, and they are super affordable. I think a bunch of sites have the line miners on sale right now for $90 or so. You could get two sets for the same price as 1 set of fall lines.

Bottom line is the prizm lenses are by far the best out on the market. Any Oakley goggle with a prizm lens is top tier.

Best pair of goggles I've owned are the dragon dx3 goggles, they're comfy, dead cheap and come with a couple of lenses for different conditions.
