Shred12343I just checked and those look exactly like what I’m looking for. But do you think the 84 86 or 96 is best for me

Shred12343That one looks good too, you think 84 seems too skinny though
BradFiAusNzCoCa84. Liberty helix 84 is good one too
isaacwrongHow old are you? Would hate to buy something then grow 6inches over night. Ability level, years skiing, budget etc are also prolly helpful
animatorCheck out the grom ski from the Armada ARV line. I think it’s the ARV 84? The 163 is a little taller than you are which means you could grow in to it. That’s a great jump ski for teens definitely
BradFiAusNzCoCaI just looked at some specs. The Liberty helix 84 is full sidewall with bamboo-poplar core.
The Liberty will be much tougher and stronger than the armada. The armada arv84 is only cap construction.
skierman_jackHey man here’s my opinion:
while the ARV 84 seems like a good option on paper, it is a kids ski. While you are a young 14, they are not meant to handle the abuse of a growing teenager. I would personally recommend the Tom Wallisch Pro in a 171. It’s a very middle of the road ski. It will hold up much better than the 84s because it’s an adult ski, and be way more comfortable to grow into. I held my old 171 chronics up to my friend (she’s 5’4) and they will be perfectly manageable. I skied 171 chronics until I was 5’8 and while they were short they weren’t debilitating. The Tom wallisch pro will get your through a season or two and help you find what direction you want to go with your skiing because they’re kind of a jack of all master of none ski. For bindings, I personally love look pivots, however as wonderful as they are they are expensive. Marker griffons or Tyrolia Attacks would be great options

Shred12343First off thank you so much i kinda get the drift now, but what did you mean by a middle of the road ski? Were you meaning that i can get into stiffer comp skis or softer fatter skis, or did you mean for skill level. And last thing is does weight matter in skis, cause thats why i liked the sound of the bash.

BradFiAusNzCoCaI second the TW pro or chronic. The bash has a long radius so it might not be as versatile out of the park as you might like. There’s a reason you don’t see many people raving over the bash. It’s a fine ski but it’s nothing particularly special.
skierman_jackBy middle of the road I mean it’s flexible but supportive, it’s wide enough to be dynamic but still narrow enough that it’s maneuverable, it’s shape is useful without being radical, etc. it’s a good ski
Weight won’t matter a ton especially if you’re still growing
Shred12343Alr imma go with the twall pro, thanks guys!
