Dumb question about drill bits for mounting

So,
I’ve mounted a ski here and there. I am aware of most considerations to be made: forward pressure, stand height, bsl, jig template, 1 cm from previous mounts, etc. etc.

But here is my dumb question (and I think I already know the answer): so I ordered a 3.5x9mm drill bit. I’ve got some Lib techs that say “3.5x9.5mm” on the topsheet for the drill.

Will I be fine using the 3.5x9? My gut says yes but I thought it was a good idea to go ahead and ask.

Yeah manufacturers have recommendations for a reason but if you’re within the range it’s usually ok

drillbit length is more screw and binding dependant, than ski when you get past the metal vs non metal in them

just make sure the srew isnttoo long when tightening, if your really worried, you can look under the ski, if you hit the bottom, you will see the bump on base.

10 bux it will be ok.

Wreckreate 102s. Nabbed them off a guy on here for $100 right as the pandemic started. Just haven’t been in USA in years to use them.

I’m planning to super-impose the attack mount template to Perspex adjusted to my bsl. Got the idea courtesy of @FaunaSkis in another thread.
