The situation in Afghanistan

The Taliban is murdering everyone who associated with the USA. They're pledging to treat women equally while they behead those not wearing hijabs. People are falling from the wings of planes just to get out of their own country.

Really puts in perspective how good western culture has it.

The current US administration is hiding and pretending nothing is happening.

We really need to help those in need. People who voted Biden should donate first =)

theLiquorwe remember 20 years since. Actually woke up this morning on the dot when towers were hit.

bad day to have to reflect and say—unless you’re a defense contractor, we lost that war. Wasted trillions of dollars, sent tons of “good ol’ boys” to have their wives defiled by Jody while deployed, lost thousands of military casualties, tens-hundreds thousands of civilian casualties in the region not exactly helping our image abroad, pulled out in just as a losing fashion of Vietnam, wasted wars, we did what we had to do after September 11 attacks I do believe that, but it was a lose-lose situation all around

Welp, we knew civilians died in that airstrike on August 29th, but now we know it was a family of 10 including a translator, and 7 children who were carrying water in their car. Whoever authorized that strike needs more than a 'you're fired' moment. I don't know how I could go on if I were the pilots or anyone involved in that.

All these target air strikes the past 10 years in Syria and Afghanistan or Iraq or other places in the Middle East always seem to have civilian casualties no matter what. Also wtf how can you not tell there’s children walking up to a car when there’s 9fuckin drone doing surveillance on it at once for 8hrs

Obama/Biden previously had a drone kill list of:

Doctors without borders hospital
Wedding Party
Funeral
16 yr old US citizen
2,200 civilians in 4 countries

So we can add this last 10 to the sad legacy of using remote control planes with hellfire missiles to conduct war.
