What up Big Dogs, Me and my buddy are chasing the snow out to Utah for this next winter and are in need of some housing, there's just two of us and were looking to rent some rooms. If you can find someone on here to rent from that’s great, otherwise we were trying to find a 3 bed 2 bath in slc and ended up calling and walking into over 20 apartments and only 3 or 4 had availability. I heard that more people than usual had to find off campus housing for the university so I think they are making it a lot harder to find a place. Your best bet is to drive around and call/walk into anywhere with a now leasing sign. Many places don’t list online for some reason

Im so glad Im not trying to find a place to rent right now...

Shit is way way too expensive these days. People are making the same amount today as I made about 10 years ago, and their rent is legit sometimes 3 times as high for the same room.



No wonder people are homeless...

Salt Lake is honestly a bit more optimal right when you factor in more options for the price and availability/lease terms. Forget about the areas outside PC though. Nothing is long-term either which is a bitch and property managers are capitalizing off of people just moving in for the winter which fucks over people who live here long-term.

I have a boarder friend who usually does a 3:30 AM wakeup with me to get up before the 5:30 canyon closure and we both enjoy that early morning trip in the dark with pounding snow.
