I need a new pair of play around/park skis, I want less than 100mm underfoot I think? or all skis wide now? I haven't bought skis since 2011. I am thinking the following...

ON3P Jeffrey 102
K2 Reckoner 102
line blends
line honey badger
j skis allplay

I have a set of old surface watchlife for out west stuff or if we ever get crazy snow in NC. I literally need something for groomers and park only

the honey badger are a very beginner ski, thus have no support, and poor durability. all other options are good though for what you seem to be looking for, and you cannot go wrong with any of them.

Corbett's still has the Reckoners on sale for $420 CAD so like $340ish USD if that makes them any more appealing? I picked up a set of the Jeremy Dean topsheets but have yet to ski them so I have no first-hand experience.

Go with the reckoners, they're perfect for what you want. Stiffer than the blends but still soft, while also being durable. Also if you're into the Jeremy Dean graphic you might be able to find some still, that's what I have, mounted with the neon attacks and they're beautiful.

Thanks for all the info guys. I wasn't sure if the reckoner was going to perform as well as some of the boutique brands.

If you want less than 100 mm underfoot then i think the jeffrey 102 and reckoner 102 might not be the best choice. If you're looking at on3p though, I suggest the magnus 90s. Real durable skis, not awful all mountain, just not great carving on groomers because of the edge detune.

I don't really need the float but it seems like wide park skis are popular now so...I would be fine with a 102 underfoot

Pleasantly surprised to see people suggesting the reckoners. I agree. They’re online for great prices right now and it’s probably the most fun ski I own. I’m in icy conditions a lot similar to east coast and have zero problems with the width or edge hold etc.

those look dope (graphics and description). how would you describe the stiffness?

also very happy to hear that they will help me use the entire mountain as a playground, that's always a plus

u mentioned corbetts so i’m guessing ur from toronto aka horseshit ice paths, get on3ps mangos/mags if ur going on3p. no need to get jeffery’s cuz when u charge down on the biggest hill around, it’ll take about 10seconds

they are though? first of all they’re a cap construction ski, there super light with a soft flex, and they’re only offered in short sizes. They’re literally marketed and made to be a ski for beginners
