Wildcat 108, new Jeffrey 110 comparison to ARV106

I skied my J108's almost every day this winter, even when I had wider skis with me. On days when there was no new snow I was on them in the park too.

Wildcat 108 and Jeff 110 have way more rocker compared to ARVs so Im sure you’ll get more float out of the two. My guess is they’re just as stiff, if not stiffer than the ARVs, even with Armada stiffening up the 106s this past season. How that combo of increased stiffness and more rocker feels in terms of playfulness can prob be addressed by someone else.

As far as Jeff 108 vs 110, I doubt the extra 2 mm will be noticeable. The 110 did get a bump up in sidecut to help with crud skiing, so theres that.

not to add to the list, but consider Dynastar M Free 108s as well. They are somewhere between J110s (most playful) and WC108s (most chargy).

The main difference between J110s and WC108s will be how they like to be skied. J110s are best skied from a modern, upright stance and not driven hard throught shovels. WC110s (and MF108s) can do both.

All are very capable in variable for how playful they are, all are loose in soft snow.

All three are phenomenal skis, so you can't really go wrong either way - so unless you want a playful ski you can drive hard through the shovels (eliminates jeff110s) all three will be wonderful skis for the use you lay out.

MF108s are the most forgiving of the three, especially in soft snow where they are dead easy to ski.

Jeff110s are stout underfoot, and WC108s are capable enough to be labeled as playful chargers, so no noodles.

I would read Blister's reviews of the three ski, and factor in that Jeffries are more capable on hard snow than they put forth.

I have never been on Armada's, so can't compare, though from Blister's stiffness rating both Jeff108s and WC108s are stiffer skis, so I would perhaps point you toward Dynastar M-Free 108s mounted slightly forward (+1 is Blister's recommendation for freestyle skiers) as your best option of the three.

Samp20I want something with maybe a touch more float than my 106's (as they will be a ski for fresh snow days) and also something a bit more playful as I found the 2021 ARV's a bit stiff.

Sound like the Line Sir Francis Bacon could be a fun option for you
- the SFB will offer more float with a similar waist width (107), but with bigger shovel, softer flex and the convex tip, it should ski better soft snow
- super playfull skis with softer tip and tail

Only downside is mixed conditions
