Which ski for the 10,000th time

I’ve been looking at adding something to my quiver and thinking a pure park/street ski makes the most sense. Really interested in bdog edgeless cause sliding street spots with no metal edges sounds sick. Only problem is I’m 6’1 190lbs and bdogs don’t come in longer than 180 which is shorter than anything I own right now.

Also, Blends have always looked fun as hell and I think I may be able to get a pair for a little less than bdogs at the moment. I have stiffer, charging skis so it’s not like I’d be stuck with only noodles. The only real problem I have with blends, besides questionable durability, is I own reckoner 102’s is that too much overlap?

Thoughts? And is there anything I should be considering? Looking for under $500 USD

that's a lot of dude for a noodle-y ski like blends, don't you think? i'm extra medium but all my tall skier friends generally go for slightly stiffer models, especially when they can't find the longer lengths they want

Slight hi-jack but being the same measurements as you, how do you like the Reckoner 102? Really trying to convince myself to pull trigger on them. Best of luck in the ski search

I mean you ain’t wrong. Think they would be just folding in half, washing out, etc left and right? I want super playful but still stable enough to land and not wash out constantly. Would I just have the same problem with edgeless bdogs then?

i haven't skied or seen in person the edgeless b dogs but yeah i'd imagine they're pretty damn soft too. you know what you want better than i can say but i do think you should consider the leverage a stiffer ski will give your bigger frame

I love them. Some of my favorite skis I’ve ever owned, they are so much fun. I know some people have durability issues like I know a guy who snapped a pair in a couple of months at my hill but I’ve had no issues and they are a blast in just about anything other than deep powder.

True. I ride commanders and meridians outside the park which are both pretty stiff so I’m trying to balance the quiver out with soft and playful park skis but don’t want to end up handicapping myself…

I’ve hand flexed the body edge less and I can bend them like a noodle with one arm. I don’t have experience with the Vishnu wet or wide but those in a plus version could possibly be a decent ski for you

Op if you don’t find the sfb too wide it’s what I’d recommend, they are good for us taller/heavier dudes, and it’s got the playfulness of a blend, especially with the leverage you should be able to produce, not that you need it for all mountain but it’s gr8 there and a lotta fun in pow, can hold an edge on groomers well too, mine are on 3rd season no reliability issues of any kind
I know some guys that dig 98 jeffreys in the park as well

Have never considered those, mostly because I already have 107, but the meridians sound like the opposite in playfulness. Could be a legit option, thanks bro.

you can 100% do the 180 bdog edgeless, Liam Downey rode the 180 Stranger all season and said it was super great... he's 6'5"

The stranger and bdog edgeless are completely different skis and not really comparable

yeah but they both come in only go to 180 and 6'5" is a quite a bit taller than 6'1"

get 191 nomad 95s or 189 wet plus
