Tighten the din screw a bit and it will probably close up

edit: just read that you loosened it for the summer. It’ll be fine if you leave it as is. The black plastic part is a separate piece than the gold, if you unscrew the din screw all the way the black part pulls off and gives you access to the spring. It should fix itself when you tighten that screw again come winter

You can also skip the summer din loosen altogether. Ski binding springs are designed to operate only within the elastic travel of the spring. As long as you keep the spring between the din limits of the binding, it will avoid plastic deformation and thus the lifespan of the spring will remain unchanged.
