even chiefs fans do... they got screwed by the same bullshit a few years ago if im not mistaken.
I would make it so both teams get to touch the ball at least one drive in OT, and no special teams units are allowed.
No kickoffs. No punts. No field goals. No PAT's. The Special teams units become cheerleaders in OT just like starting pitchers are in the late innings in baseball.
Just straight up 4th down conversions, going for the touchdown, and 2 point attempts allowed.
Oh, and each drive, has its own ticking clock. You get 1 minute to drive down the field from the logo.
You get one time out. If you run out of time, it's a turnover. The team must manage the clock well and score quickly.
This is simple enough, forces teams to piece together touchdown drives and they cannot play conservative, nor for field position.
