It's that time of the year, mid-summer.
That time of the year where past winter feels far away, next winter is not there yet.
That time of the year when California is on fire, snow is getting rare and dirty, pretty much only good for backcountry bros being on a 42 months streak of whatever number they like to brag about.
That time of the year where you think to yourself biking is fun, but it's hot and smokey out there, and it ain't skiing.
It's also that time of the year where clips from Hood or Copper summer camp pop to your feed reminding you how much you like skiing, god that slush looks fun, taking you deep into ski edits, like a drug addict, always needing more edits to watch, feeding your hype, growing the hype, your hype now needs more edits to watch, getting out of control in an infernal vicious circle.
