Why is everyone always so bitchy towards one another or outsiders. "Locals", if you can even call them that, who hate on non-locals, transplants, and tourists are no better imo than people who are anti-mexican just because they want to move to our country.

This whole locals, jerries, tourists, etc is ridiculous. It's left and right on NS. You don't own a state or city or block or ski resort or special trail or anything that doesn't have your name on it. This attitude only furthers division but in reality unless ur a native American, you can cut the shit about people moving into your state. And shit, even Native Americans migrated here. Think how many of you now "Locals" moved to that area. Or how many of your parents moved. Or grandparents. If they hadn't, you wouldn't be the "local" you are today. You would be those which you despise.

And who is anyone to tell another what sort of life they should live or personality to be. Any of you with this type of mindset honestly sound like a bunch of douche bags and are those assholes that ruin skiing (and life just sucking all the happiness out of the air) for everyone. It's almost like hating migrants is cool or something. Just worry about you. Complain less. Feel better.

And to anyone who disagrees... Free country fuckers! One is free to travel and live where they want- go fuck yaself. One is also free to complain about it- get da ferk outta my town. But fuck, get a life and move on.


Tldr: chill. You don't own the world.

It's not the roads that are bad, it's mostly the coastal highways and routes where I live. So many people come up here, it's impossible to get up the coast on a Friday afternoon.

Honestly tho I do enjoy telling newcomers about good food spots that you've been able to frequent most of your life as someone living in the area. Like the skiings pretty easy to figure out along with other things to do, but hell yeah I'm glad you're stoked on my favorite pizza spot too bro.

Whatever that place is downtown SLC that serves $2 PBRs and is open till like 3am after the bars close. Its next to a really shitty dive bar and a brawl brokeout in the line one night I went there with my ex. It was some worldstar stuff.

There's some fun bars and clubs in Salt lake. Downtown proper is pretty small compared to other large cities but the valley is sprawling and there's stuff littered about. Not a bad city to live in if you like to be in bed by 11pm though or smoke weed lol. Great food all around. It changes every year though and its starting to become a bigger city.

I will say the only thing that pisses me off regardless of where I am is disregard for others and ignorance of rules regardless of intent. If you're in nature and litter, you are a cunt. If you're not considerant of others, ur a dick. If you ignore rules and regulations that protect wildlife, parks, or people's way of life, then fuck you too. I can imagine people royally fuck up knowingly and unknowingly all the time. Ffs I got into an argument with my dad cuz he couldn't comprehend that leaving a fire unattended minutes from a national park was not only highly illegal but dangerous.

Short story about dickheads: went backpacking last year in the Adirondacks and it had to be 1am, this fucking group of guys comes trampling in to a nearby campsite loud as fuck. They are laughing, yelling, and banging things for hours. I was pissed. That night it happened to be like 90 degrees and we hiked a few miles in the dark to the first campsite. Miserably hot and sticky, I finally fell asleep shortly before these dicks arrived. In the morning, we woke up and hiked past a literal garbage dump with trash everywhere, including their illegal method of storing their food, suspended maybe chest level from the ground in a black trash bag. Found out a few days later there was a black bear who had been raiding camps and even getting into bear vaults and being aggressive. Likely a result of fucks like this.
