Hey y’all,
So I’ve been dying to get into the backcountry but I really have 0 friends who can even ski/board and those who I know who tour are pulling 30+ km over nighters and for sure won’t want to babysit me on shorter and easier beginner trips since time is limited etc. I’m pretty crushed and really hate that I can’t find anyone to do this and I really would not be comfortable going out alone since I am a newbie, just seeing if there’s any other way to find a group since it feels like I just will be completely unable to get into the sport I’ve been wanting to do due to lack of connections and friends. Anything would help, feeling really down lately since it feels like I will never truly get a shot at finding a good way to get into the touring game, shit fucking blows and I just want to find some way to get involved so I have a small chance of meeting some people so I am able to get out and tour.
