Nukeyyou’re 12
Not shitting on Pierre whatsoever here but I think a filmer who doesn’t get enough recognition is
@Schoess . Mans has made arguably the one of the best edit series in skiing. Heavily responsible for the huge recognition the Midwest scene in the past couple years, especially Trollhaugen itself. And also, just by watching his edits, I’m confident that he’s one of the best at filming in the game, especially with fisheye shots.
not trying to call anyone out here but there are some people that don’t properly film fisheye shots and still get their name blown up. I guess there’s “no right or wrong way” to film, but there kinda is for fisheye shots. You have to utilize the whole frame IMO, especially for shots where you’re posted up by a feature. That’s something Nick does extremely well, as well as other established names such as Emmett Davis, Sanch n Oliver Hoblitzelle, Owen Dahlberg, Tristian Steen, Aaron husak, and much more. Being picky here but filming is all about how well you display your technique and framing of fisheye shots as well as long lens shots, and these names are guys who do that extremely well.
can’t really talk to much because I’m still not an expert with my fisheye rig but at least I know how and how not to do shit
