Jemspanda has a lot of hair, idk if you've experienced eating shit purely because hair got in your face.
gilbertresselisaac had a lot of hair in that pic dawg, like down to his hips. I'd use durag too to keep it out of my eyes

skeirmanLOL you poor dude. Cultural appropriation isn't actually a real thing.
theabortionatorI just ordered my winter 21/22 outerwear.

FruitBootProi'm not saying it's cultural appropriation, i'm asking what you guys think, it annoys me that i got downvote spammed when asking for legit opinions. i didnt know what to think and that's why i asked you guys
weastcoastOnly thing that’s worse is wearing a hoodie and when you try to 2 on or swap or whatever it flies in your face and you can’t see the rail anymore.
mitcheyBro you forget the fragility of newschoolers members' egos when you question that anything they're doing might not be in the right. Not saying it's right or wrong, but with a member base that's like 95% white dudes idk what else you'd expect. Good on you for even wondering/asking these kinds of questions though
Skiblade420Not fragility, more so frustration that a lot of decent people like fruitboot have think about stupid insignificant shit like this regularly.
mitcheyHe asked y'alls opinion and y'all got frustrated that he even asked? That makes 0 sense, he just wanted to know what people thought. That's why I'm calling it fragility

FruitBootProNormally I hate that term but don't durags only function for the hair of Blacks, specifically for waves?
lilpremeharlaut apparel does nothing but confirm that snowboarding is cooler than skiing
Skiblade420Extreme wokeism has pounded our brains to feel we need to ask about this kind of stuff. Not frustrated with the guy, it’s just sad that people have to be concerned about minuet things like this all the time.
Skiblade420
Lmao
twinkle_toesProbably gonna get downvoted for this but idc
The only thing that's a bit upsetting to me is how black culture is so present in the skiing industry (rap music in almost every edit, baggy clothes, etc).
But skiing has always been a predominantly white sport. How many black skiers do you ever see out there? Probably only a handful of pros.. and I don't know a single pro female skier that's black either. I just wish they were represented in the industry as much as their culture is that's all
A huge part of what made me fall in love with park skiing is the attitude that comes with it, the baggy pants & the old school hip hop edits. So I don't think it should change. But I definitely do think it should be recognized and respect where it comes from.
I'm glad you made this post even tho it got a bunch of downvotes, worth having a conversation abt for sure
g_lectrolyteAll I’m wondering is if this dude would feel 100% comfortable in a largely black part of a city... and I’m thinking the answer is no
g_lectrolyteAll I’m wondering is if this dude would feel 100% comfortable in a largely black part of a city dressed up like that... and I’m thinking the answer is no, people would be clowning him left and right

Christian_Balemy views on durags are similar to my views on dreads. white people look kinda silly when they do it but its not really so bad if they appreciate it and the original culture that it came from. like Im not mad about henrik having dreads cuz he genuinely appreciates that culture.
FruitBootProa huge bummer to me is that I can't wear my jacket hoodies over my helmet because then i can't see while riding switch
lilpremeharlaut apparel does nothing but confirm that snowboarding is cooler than skiing
DesertStixNS is full of white fragility. You’re not wrong. And even though Isaac has long hair, a Durag wouldn’t help nearly as much as one of those beanies for dreads or something. Durags don’t offer support and are for keeping a hair pattern that us white people just aren’t genetically capable of naturally attaining.
The real question is should he be “allowed” to wear one which is kinda the same argument as should white people be allowed to listen to hip hop or is that cultural appropriation? Bring on the downvotes for trying to have a healthy conversation on here lmao

EdensDemiseEveryone's downvoting this but I completely agree
asparagussuper dumb question but can you elaborate because i dont understand why
EdensDemiseIdk what his thoughts are on Harlaut but I agree with what @BLandz said. If something would look stupid just wearing it it doesn't look any less stupid when you're skiing. In snowboarding nobody's under the impression that wearing a durag and 10XL is anything but fucking ridiculous. Harlaut and similar type stuff seems like more of a costume than a fit to me if that makes sense
