I’m not saying he fell and didn’t land it, but it definitely wasn’t stomped, granted that trick requires so much air, hucking, and mainly balls it can’t be an easy ride out. Hope to see it landed clean in a comp run one day.

I totally agree it wasn’t landed clean, but it was landed. Philou & Mike Wilson said outright he didn’t land it all.

Wilson has always been odd, like I said above all these guys want to tell people they were T Hall or Candide but just unrecognized. Yet they don’t even have half of the accolades to show for it. I have no idea why Wilson has been such a gatekeeper of the sport for the youth. They hate air bags they hate progression anything that wasn’t done how it was “back in their day” is lame.
Meanwhile greats like T Hall are still out there every single day skiing with the up and comers giving them shot outs and tips on life and skiing. That’s how it should be done

I'd say that's a little grey. It's a standard 22 foot pipe but it's closed for "elite" athlete training and built by probably the best dude to do it. There's like 50 people riding it all day though so def not some provate training facility for just him.
But for sure was a legit pipe and not some specific purpose built qp or one if those qp to bank lander features.
I really wish I'd seen it. Even just watching some of those dudes chuck huge dubs was sick af.

Ya know in other sports whenever someone does something cool or impressive, unique, or pushes the boundaries, a lot of people both from prior generations and the current one give props and show some respect for an incredible feat as opposed to "Didn't land it, Not that cool tbh".
