Anyone else pissed at theirself for not doing enough street riding this winter?

Past couple days I’ve noticed some really dank spots in my town and it got me thinking… why the fuck didn’t I ski more street? Only did it like one day. Sad part is that we will never have a winter again like we did this year (wPA gang), it would have been perfect for street riding since there was snow on the ground for a whole 3 months straight.


this also brings up a dilemma… resort riding or street riding??

Street riding is prolly more rewarding but not as fun, plus you can’t really up your game in the streets, you gotta ride your hill’s park. I tell myself I will ski street every winter but that’s never the case, I just end up skiing my local 5 days a week instead. Hard to explain but I always feel like I’m missing out if I choose to spend a night hitting a spot vs. a night up on the hill.

Once you get your license the game is forever changed. And also I felt that, I don’t have a crew in town, all my ski homies live at least like 45 mins away

I get maybe 3 days a year to ski street so if it snows you beat believe I’ll be in the streets. This year I was able to stack 5 clips in 2 days which I’m actually super stoked on, but I always yearn for more street riding. Having snow on the ground for 3 months sounds hella nice

personally i think the key is to do your scouting during the rest of the year and really find some spots so once you actually get snow, you know some definite spots to hit up depending on how much snow you got. if you wake up and go hmm okay i wonder where might be fun to hit today, it's less likely to actually happen haha

so if you're regretting it right now, go scout for next time!

No because I didn’t have a crew to ride with this year but yes, I have noticed some banger rails around town. There’s a reason Faction goes to Finland every year.

dude i’m kicking myself for not taking advantage of the winter we got here. nobody wanted to ski street though and it’s hard by yourself

I'm pissed too but then again I live in Vancouver and we only had enough snow for a single day of street skiing last winter.

My town got so many street spots and I never had the time or the people to go with. Once you’re here we are hitting the streets hard since tussey sucks

the only time I usually end up skiing street is in December before the hill is open but there is some snow to ski on, I find it really hard to motivate myself to do it once the hill is open, especially since I live 5 mins away. This past season I would find myself making big plans during the week to go do epic shit on the weekend, but once saturday morning rolled around it would be like yeah...I'm just gonna wake up at 9 and leisurely make my way to the mtn. It also didn't snow enough in town this winter to hit a lot of the spots I've been looking at.

Meh, Bozeman doesn’t have much and I don’t have a dedicated group to hit street with in MN. Only got a few days of street in this season but ticked off a rail that had never been hit by anyone period so that was a bit of an accomplishment to me.

Just curious, do you have any plans to hit that curved dfd off to the left of the smiling cow? I was up there the other day and it looks like it'll go.

Yeah I really hate how Bozeman is flat and Denver gets no snow anymore, when I'm there at least. Makes urban access hard but hopefully next year I can get my hands on a Bungie

I've always wanted to hit some spots around my town but never did because it always was a new rail or a better jump at the resort, but after a snowfall me and my homie said fuck it and hit this rail. both of us got clips and kept going with more spots so we could make a "street" video. just hit one spot and you will keep going because its an insane feeling to land something you're stoked on:) also street can be really fun if you have some good homies at the spot

Are their any people in western PA hitting street @weastcoast? I feel like you guys get a good amount of snow out there most years and Erie isnt to far either which if I'm not mistaken gets consistent snow.

Erie like buffalo gets snow but it’s more of a matter of keeping it there for more than 3 days. So lucky to have 180inches of snow this year and no warmups down in EVL
