Fort Hood. 36th is one of the last remaining engineer brigades since they moved to the BEB structure. They’ve got battalions in Carson and I’m not sure where else anymore. Also spent time at that shit hole known as Fort Drum. Fuck that place.

it was a long time ago and I've only ever been in that library once so I can't even really describe it, but basically it was like the end of an aisle in a very empty section and it ended at a wall so three sides were covered. i could see the perpendicular row through the books to my left in case someone was walking towards us but fortunately nobody ever came (except me - she definitely didn't)
