I used to be a frequent seller on ebay so I'm familiar how the system works as well as protections allotted to buyers and sellers. I really only buy on eBay if I can't find stuff on Amazon or in stores or if it's cheaper. What's so annoying is when you leave bad feedback, eBay asks you like 3 fucking times... "you sure? You sure bro?" yes motherfuckers obviously I'm pissed. I feel like their pressure to leave positive feedback skews the feedback scores.
Anyway, anyone have any juicy stories about ebay?
My latest:
Seller sent me the wrong item so I sent a picture and was like yo this is clearly wrong, can you please refund or replace? Should be a simple fix considering it was for $9.20. Guess again. This fucking dude goes "how about 50% refund?".... Lmao seriously??? You fuck up and want me to pay for your mistake?! How bout nah. Value of items sent= $2.50 if I bought straight from the manufacturer. The 50% back would actually be ripping me off even more and leaving him with at least a 100% profit. The seller had like 22k feedback rating and good ratings so this was unexpected, especially the resistance. I ended up having to process a return. Total time wasted 60min. At this point it was about principle. Fucking cheap skate trying to haggle me over a few bucks.
