isaacwrongIdk man...would be interesting to get some info as to how the sites feed works and where most of the traffic comes from. Unfortunately it seems like if you don't have some real recognition on instagram, a top 100 ns user, or have an orange name your video most likely will get lost in uploads. Top 6 videos of the month are all orange names. Would be nice to have some input from an admin to see how the algorithm plays out

SchoessYour film should be as long or short as it takes to properly tell the story with the footage you have. You'll get better at understanding this as time goes on and will be able to ballpark an edit length based on how much footage and what kind of footage you know you have.
This will also vary depending on how much slow mo you like using, how densely you cut clips together with or without b roll, etc.
I would encourage you to focus on making the best possible video you can, even if it comes out as 60 seconds and you were aiming for 5 minutes.
