Releasing ski bindings

just gota sit down on em real hard and they release

Just be real gentle taking the first one off then use your boot to pop off the second. Or reach down and use your hand.

I’ve got the same setup. When I step out, it doesn’t scrape any plastic. At least on the FKS 120s, where I step is metal so it scrapes the paint off. The plastic gets cut up when I use poles.

You can try leaning down and using your hands on the first ski and ski boot on the 2nd ski but it’s a pain in the ass.

I use poles in park now though and it’s easier for stepping out. Try some shorter poles if you don’t like poles in park. That changed my mind. Just my 2 cents

twin224recently got my pivot 12's mounted on my chronics and I release my bindings by stepping on it which ended up scraping some of the plastic from my pivot heel pieces off. any solutions for releasing bindings without poles?

unfortunately it’s gonna happen… beat up pivots look cool anyways. if you scrape enough off they’ll look like the raw pivots

the heel piece of my pivots (pivot 12 gw) is mostly plastic and I don't care too much its just concerning that they scratch quite easily.

also I don't have much money to work with so I want to make them last as long as possible

It’s just paint scratching off the plastic. I have older fks120 that I just kick off. They’ve been running for years. I flip my pole upside down and use the hand grip on other binders like gold 15’s though
