Ski equivalent of freebord for skiiers?

Do y'all reckon there could be a skiing equivalent of these freeboards and has anyone actually tried them? are they actually as good as snowboarding? and do you reckon a skiing version would be possible?

Yeah I used to have a freebord WAY back in the day. Probably like 2006. It was fucking sick. Felt a lot like snowboarding. Very confidence inspiring. Was not scared at all of big hills. Was surprised at how strong it felt riding

honestly there's nothing else i can think of that mimics the slidiness of skis tho

You could build it with narrow quad skate trucks and casters mounted to 2x4s or an old pair of skis.

My concern would be swing weight, it's a non-issue with Freebords 'cos the bindings are right over the trucks.
