Nothing wrong with wanting to live in a different country or culture. The US is great but European countries and cultures definitely have it dialed in for lifestyle and family values. From lunch breaks to holiday times on and on they got it down. To get there though lots of Americans would have to take a pay cut- I'd be getting paid 50% in Europe what I make now. Even Central and South American countries have envious ways of living. I remember I was in Costa Rica a while back and we visited a school and were told they have no homework ever; all work is done in school and when you leave the building you have no work so you can focus on family and being a kid.

It doesn't help when every single news outlet in this country, and outlets abroad, cover news to get clicks, not to actually objectively cover stories.

Every single news outlet should be destroyed and replaced with people who cover things objectively (this of course is almost impossible)

No news agency is so bad that they won't tell part of a narrative. No news agency is so good that they will tell the whole narrative.

It is paramount that people go to multiple sources on both sides of the aisle to get a fairly complete breakdown of a story.

But most people don't do this. They read what they want to read. They listen to the news that they want to hear.

AP, Reuters, and BBC are not the angels of journalism. This is very evident in the updated recommendations in the AP Stylebook. The UK based agencies, Reuters and BBC, will also outsource stories if they don't have their own journalists present, so they can only get what their finite resources give them.

Basically, what I'm saying is, DO NOT GO TO ONE SOURCE. NOT EVEN THE AGENCIES THAT ARE IN THE "CENTER".

also efficiency is all about making the market as free as possible. If you let dollars flow to where they want to flow you will maximize efficiency.

if you centrally plan or redistribute wealth, you are doing the equivalent of adipose cells in a humans fat ass crying because they dont get as much glucose as neurons do, even tho by feeding the brains neurons with more glucose and giving less glucose to the ass cells the human being will be able to make better decisions that will increase the health of the whole body and every cell in it.

The free market is always going to maximize efficiency. And i imagine you arent going to pretend the left is as pro free market as the right.

I do not think it maximizes societal efficiency, no.

I disagree completely that the inner workings of the human body has anything to do with capitalist economics.

Libertarians are right-wing, yes, but they have far far more in common with liberals than whatever the GOP is advertising (mainly because they are in fact, liberals) True Libertarians dont give a fuck about policing abortion rights, or worrying about military expenditures. They support green energy seeing as its cheap and efficient, and combating climate change, as it will destroy their bottom line over time... also they are very much pro-prostitution... as well as child exploitation and sex trafficking. So thats a thing.

Tucker Carlson is noa Libertarian. Hes a rich daddy-money boy whos wealth comes from a food company - any business involved with big agriculture completely supports large government contracts and food subsidies because its allowed them to maintain their businesses for years and inflated their overall profits... case and point - dairy subsidies and government cheese.

lol I don't know about THAT dude. If you make more than $32,000 a year then you're part of the richest 1% of the world. The average annual salary per year in the US is $43,000. If the vast majority of our citizens are doing better than 99% of the global population then I'd say we're doing pretty well. Go down to Haiti and tell a starving unemployed slum kid "Man, I know what it's like dog, medical insurance is expensive"

You gotta measure a country by how it treats its people... and America does a pretty piss poor job of taking care of it's have-not's compared to just about all other developed nations. The amount of homeless and incarcerated is definitely
at some very ugly levels..

Perhaps it isn't quite third world - Its not like the USA is Haiti or Tanzania or Bangladesh, but its certainly not all that it boasts about or promises... Id say it's a lot closer to somewhere like say, Brazil, than many of it's European and East Asian contemporaries it loves to look down upon...
