Confession time because I need to get it off my chest: My entire quiver is two pairs: 100 and 120 Bentchetlers. I wear head to toe TNF gear and have a Mammoth sticker on my helmet. I tell everyone my favorite mountain is Big Sky because it “is a better experience” and don’t elaborate. I went to Taos once and now I am the best skier on any mountain. I accidentally landed a 360 once and considered buying Edollos. I drive an old Subaru Outback and get mad at “gapers” in LCC even though I’m from the Midwest. I constantly hype up the Ice Coast just to be an edgelord. I love Deer Valley yet hate on Vail.

Dude I just show up to the base of the resorts to drink on weekends in my ski gear, boots included. Don't even take a single lap. Just stand around in gear and drink Montuckys all afternoon

this is really what it’s all about. You probably are. Core skiers today are just skiers who actually have fun and don’t care where they park, how long the line is, and just make huge claims to mix it up.

some 11 year old kid came up to me at Bachelor at told me he was going to do a cork 9 and then straight aired while flailing. That’s more core than me.

If you see me in line (obvi with the chettys, TNF gear, and mammoth and NS helmet stickers) call me out for being in-core and there is a 110% I will buy u a beer. I’ll be at every Epic resort next year for a least a couple days. (This year i was ikonic lol, and wow are there a lot of NSers in Brighton lift lines)

There is definitely a scenario where one is "core" and gracefully ages into shameless enjoyment of whatever it is what you love.

I still love hitting urban for no reason, getting brunch at the stein at deer valley on Sundays, buying the latest gear.

Hate if you want, but I don't think there's a wrong way to enjoy skiing as long as you're doing it in good faith. That's what it's all about!
