Debating on whether switch tricks or forwards tricks look better
Also to the point of this thread, hitting or landing jumps switch is the climax of the sport of skiing. As an athletic feat its so far beyond anything in snowboarding because for example switch in snowboarding isnt as much of a thing.
nobody remembers the first time they saw a snowboarder ride switch because it doesnt look any different. But every kid remembers the first time they saw a skier skiing switch or hitting a jump switch. Its just something that seems like it wouldnt work but flexible athletes leverage basedness to make it work. Its probably one of the most fundamental parts to the newschool element of our sport.
