I can't blame him, every year the core requirement is raised by a bit. I expect by 2035, if you are not wearing a XS crop-top arsenic shirt that you bought off kysen hall, you will be the local clown at the ski hill. Never being able to find a solid ski crew of core skiers is devastating.

Haha what? No. Volkl is pronounced Vocal with an extra L before the C. If you really want to say it properly it’s F-eugh-l-kul. V is F and ö is a weird noise like saying eee with your mouth in an ohhh shape.

Stockli is pronounce sch-took-kli

I thought it was named after Mount Vishnu which is either in California or Canada cant remember, but pretend I didn't say that because being interested in the origins of ski companies isn't core and all ski companies should be mysterious and shadowy organisations a la Jet Skis. This is why on3p isn't core because it has an about page on its website.
