I grew up using an old pair of K2 sights for years and finally picked up a pair of 169cm Hellbents that have been an absolute game changer for me. Their ridiculous width and Pow tips combined with my terrible skiing technique and overall laziness has been a match made in heaven.
half the time I don’t even bother getting my skis all the way around or switch on a jump or off rails because I know can trust those powder noodles to slide no matter what way their facing. Their the tool for the job on any pow day and can hold on to groomers even though their loud as hell. The only reason I’m not riding these beauty’s day and night is a recent experience on icy conditions. Any bit of ice and their an absolute liability on the mountain and I need something smaller underfoot with ideally a large amount of rocker and soft as a noodle. Looking for any models of old or new skis in that category in a 95-110 waist
